Review for Marin Shakespeare Company, San Rafael, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've been attending the Marin Shakespeare Company performances for many years and watched these fine productions become fabulously outstanding. For my family and friends It's been a marvelous way to gather for picnic or an on site dinner & talk before the performance. Outdoors, in Domincan University's Forest Meadows we've seen rainbows and stars lend magical touches to the plays. . Now that I have the good fortune to be a volunteer I've come to realize that this great gift to our community has been brought about by talents and old fashioned hard work of Lesley and Bob Currier. They are the real magic, the genial forces that have given us this gift of remarkable theatre.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Attending the plays and appreciating the talents of actors recruited from all over the country. The, sound system, settings, lighting and props have been wonderfully constructed.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

improve the economy so that the Marin Shakespeare Company could have a more flexible budget.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the consistently high standards of the performances

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

interesting, cordial and helpful

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

all of the above

Ways to make it better...

there were funds to renovate the theatre and improve the seating. Additional funds for purchasing better fabrics for the costumes would be helpful.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

spinning gold out of straw

One thing I'd also say is that...

Thank you Lesley and Bob
