My son, Maxwell, is learning to play the viola with Michael Manson at Musical Arts Institute (MAI). My husband and I wanted our son to learn to play an instrument in an effort to increase his ability to focus as well as his determination to learn new skills. Maxwell's experience with MAI has exceeded our expectations. Maxwell is learning to play the viola, attending lessons and practicing at home with great ease. This has also translated into him starting his homework on his own and taking more ownership of his elementary school education.

I must also praise the teachers and staff at MAI, they are consistently pleasant and informative. It is simply a wonderful, approachable experience. I highly recommend MAI for anyone--young and not-so-young--who would like to learn to play an instrument and/or receive voice lessons.
