my husband and I adopted our pup two years ago. OPH was amazing to field any and all questions I had, and were quick to contact everyone I had listed as references. I would advise your references to be as available as possible to field a couple of questions to speed up the process, but i think it only took a couple of days for us to get past that part. You have to appreciate an organization whose "parents" are vetted. Our foster was amazing as to provide answers and guidance, and the OPH personnel documented everything perfectly about our pup so we could make the smooth transition to our own vet. I am forever indebted to OPH's professionalism, and the great work they do for the helpless animals in these terrible places and situations. If I win the lottery, I will donate a bulk to OPH:) I wouldn't recommend another org, they are and were a pleasure to work with.
