I am thankful for the Childhood Leukemia Foundation and for the effort they make to help make the lives of children with cancer better. Cancer runs in my family like water. It is no fun for an adult, let alone a child. Long hospital stays can be very boring, let alone the suffering from the disease. I am glad especially for the IPad program, and for the gift baskets. The son of a friend of mine suffered from leukemia for 3 years before he passed away. He died from the disease after his bone marrow transplant. He died with the toy bear in his arms that he received in his gift basket from Childhood Leukemia Foundation. Some donor who doesn't even know the name of this child made a world of difference in his life. Thank you for your support!
