JCA has been instrumental in ensuring productive and positive aging in the greater Washington community for its senior population. What is most important is that this agency is able to do so on a very tight budget and with many collaborations with other organizations in the area established to also serve this population. JCA runs many innovative programs, especially in the senior transportation area and in inter generational programs that benefit both ends of the population spectrum. It also leverages government funding extremely well will with private funding. I am proud to be associated with the Jewish Council for Aging.
