My wife and I adopted a 10 month old puppy from OPH and we could not have been more pleased with the experience. We found this organization to be extremely helpful and professional. The web site enabled us to preview prospective dogs in advance and the written description of our dog was spot on. The dog's foster owner was fantastic, and we were able to call her in advance of our adoption to discuss our wishes for a pet to see if the dog we were considering would be a suitable match. Because we live in Virginia and the foster owner and dog lived in Pennsylvania, the foster owner agreed to meet us halfway in Maryland so we could meet the dog we were considering. We fell in love with the dog immediately, and the foster owner came prepared with all medical records, microchip information, current medications, and a large bag of his current food. We were extremely pleased with all phases of the adoption process and are very happy to have connected with the fine folks at OPH.
