When I joined JSA my freshman year I wasn't expecting it to change my life the way it has. My high school JSA chapter became like a family to me, and weekly meetings became a place where I could learn, grow, and express myself. I am proud to say that over the last three years JSA has influenced the person I am today. JSA gave me the confidence I needed to express myself, keeps me informed about politics, and reminds me how important it is to be an active member of society. Conventions and JSA Summer School have also allowed me to form ever-lasting bonds and meet amazing people, some of whom became my best friends. I hope that JSA can continue to shape students' lives across the country and help them find their voice as it did for me.
