I bought a bunch of cards for my family members as a holiday gift. It was an easy process and they all seemed to like the idea. Unfortunately, a few of them never used the cards so I would not purchase these in the future.
Hi Pete! If your recipient doesn't spend their gift card, you can always do it yourself (your receipt gives you access to the unspent codes--let us know if you need another copy). If a card remains unspent for two years, the funds on that card slowly roll into our education budget. Those funds are used to support the TisBest Charity Gift Card system and specifically to support DiscoverGiving, TisBest’s classroom philanthropy project. Monies are used to provide free giving kits to select classrooms and to enhance all aspects of the DiscoverGiving program. Remember, TisBest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all monies are spent carefully and effectively to make this unique charity gift card system possible, to encourage non-material gift-giving, and to support our charity partners.
