The concept is AWESOME. But we have bought for clients during the holidays for at least 3 years. Email the card to each client as they are all over the country. The ones that get them and use them, love them. Unfortunately that ends up being about 35%...not sure where they go, SPAM would be my guess. So... Tis Best basically becomes the recipient of my holiday gifts. May try mailing the cards this year...which adds a lot to the effort
Wanted to make sure we followed up with you in regards to this issue, if you would like to send out e-mail cards again please do reach out as we can help on our end to insure that the cards are being delivered. Additionally, if you did decide to send out physical cards we can handle all of the assembly and shipping here on our end to send them out for you. Regarding the unspent cards If your recipient doesn't spend their gift card, you can always do it yourself (your receipt gives you access to the unspent codes--let us know if you need another copy). If a card remains unspent for three years, the funds on that card slowly roll into our education budget. Even then the cards themselves never expire so the recipient is welcome to redeem them at any time. The rolled over funds are used to support the TisBest Charity Gift Card system and specifically to support DiscoverGiving, TisBest’s classroom philanthropy project. Monies are used to provide free giving kits to select classrooms and to enhance all aspects of the DiscoverGiving program. Remember, TisBest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all monies are spent carefully and effectively to make this unique charity gift card system possible, to encourage non-material gift-giving, and to support our charity partners.
