Review for Literacy Green Bay Inc, Green Bay, WI, USA
I've supported Literacy Green Bay for more than 12 years as both a volunteer tutor and board member. I support this organization because I feel that literacy is the key to a prosperous community. The employees of Literacy Green Bay treat those seeking assistance with dignity and compassion. The facility is well-kept and improvements are made to the tutoring space as needed.
Review for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Brown County, Green Bay, WI, USA
CASA of Brown County continues to provide a voice for those children who are under protection within the court system. Volunteer advocates work on the behalf of those children without thinking twice...it's all about the kids...their safety and their future!
Review for Literacy Green Bay Inc, Green Bay, WI, USA
Literacy Green Bay continues to provide assistance to those who wish to learn English and/or improve their English. The organization's leadership provides a great learning environment for its students and support for its volunteers.
Review for Literacy Green Bay Inc, Green Bay, WI, USA
I have been involved with Literacy Green Bay for close to four years as a volunteer tutor. From the first communication I had with the organization expressing interesting in becoming a tutor, everyone has been professional and helpful and that continues on today. Even when I had to step away from tutoring for a while, they were accommodating to my needs. The work they do with the adult learners is exceptional. Adult learners are reaching the goals they've set for themselves; earning their GED, advancing in their employment, or becoming US citizens. It's a great organization and one I'm very proud to be associated with and supportive of!
