Review for The Joy Bus, Phoenix, AZ, USA
The Joy Bus physically and emotionally supports cancer patients who need to eat healthy during their time of healing. At the same time, patients are being emotionally uplifted by the active caring of others. New friends who visit, bringing food and words of hope while reducing the feeling of facing the barriers of their health issues alone. Imagine a patient not having to face the task of food preparation when unable to cope with one more task! With the Joy Bus, cancer patients experience a compassionate delivery system of quality meals at no cost to them. Joy Bus reduces stress for patients while they and their families face many added health care expenses to their family budget.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Continue to seek additional grants for providing a service that was non-existant in our community. Encourage individuals to add info regarding Joy Bus to Facebook, blogs and help to raise awareness. Encourage the writing of news and magazine articles highlighting the need for development this type of service within other cities and communities.
