Review for Global Exploration for Educators Organization, Norristown, PA, USA
I have traveled 7 times with this organization. Jesse, the CEO, is most helpful to anyone who needs it when selecting a trip or answering any question imaginable. The trips themselves have leaders that are highly competent, friendly and knowledgeable. Educators and family/friends can't go wrong with GEEO.

Go GEEO! I have travelled to South Africa, the Galapagos, Eastern Europe, Greece, and this summer to Italy with this group. I enjoy having someone else to the legwork on transportation and hotels. Although these would never be called "top of the line," hotels are clean and comfortable and the transportation workable. The leaders are highly capable and sometimes quite knowledgeable about the history and culture of places visited, and they can make arrangements for individuals who wish to visit specific sites. The orientation walks always provide an overview, yet there is time to explore on your own. It is really special when possible to visit schools and work with kids and teachers. I also enjoy travelling with educators of different content areas and ages. We can learn a lot from each other, and invariably, new friendships are formed.

I have taken four trips with GEEO, to South Africa, the Galapagos, Eastern Europe and Greece. As a retired educator, I can think of no better way to travel than with fellow educators. The prices are reasonable, and with one exception, the guides have been really great. The accommodations are comfortable, and there are choices of activities that allow every individual on every trip to do as much as possible. Get credit if needed, acquire new knowledge and skills to share with students, learn about other peoples and cultures, and allow yourself to be challenged. GEEO's director will answer any question and is usually able to put someone in touch with a veteran who has taken a trip so that, if there are travel anxieties, these can be alleviated, and you can be prepared to enjoy the experience to the max, and make friends that will last a lifetime.
