Review for Ward 7 Arts Collaborative Inc, Washington, DC, USA
The Ward 7 Arts Collaborative, Inc., has been one of the leading arts organization east of the river here in Washington, D. C. It's director Wanda Aikens, an Artist has created and shared artistic expression with my organization the Parklands Community Center during our Family Strenghtening Conference at the Washington Convention Center. Her work brighten up our space. She engaged children at the conference in artistic projects that was displayed for the attendees. Ms. Aikens is very compassionate about increase cultural programming in our community. She has lobbied for funds to expand art programs and increase the numbers of youth in art programs.

Review for Fair Chance, Washington, DC, USA
The Parklands Community Center was one of the first nonprofit organizations that received capacity building funding and support, back in the day. It was during a time when our board was falter and funds were down. Thanks to Amanda and Fair Chance our Board got back on track, and their guidance helped us to become more effective in soliciting more funding for our year round programming that served as a safety net for children and youth living Ward 8. So many thanks and I am glad to see Fair Chance still around helping other nonprofits serving people in need. Brenda H.
