Review for Junior State of America, Oakland, CA, USA
JSA and the Junior Statesmen Foundation has opened up so many opportunities to me as a high school student. JSA's mission and activities explore all aspects of good citizenship: political awareness, social awareness, and communication skills. It brings together thousands of intelligent and passionate high school students from schools across the nation. The conventions, both one-day and overnight, have a certain, unique atmosphere of competition mixed with a genuine feeling of unity over common interests. I would encourage most anyone to participate in JSA for these reasons.
