Review for The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, Littleton, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

If not for finding the CHF, we may have lost our son. It was because of CHF that we found out about SUDEP, Seizure Alert Service Dogs, Alert Monitors, and EADDL, all of which contributed to the wellbeing of our Son, and saved his life. So, when you ask me what CHF means to us, it’s an unequivocal EVERYTHING! Doug and Julie Hutchison lost their daughter, because no one told them about SUDEP, and they have made it their personal mission to help others from walking that same path. Steady as rocks, and supportive in any way possible, these two have been an inspiration to all of us that are a part of this epilepsy journey; they are amazing people!

💜Our time at EADDL was amazing, informative, and educational. We also got to meet the Levy family, a wonderful family with an incredible story. We met a Specialist, who finally got our son on the right meds, and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Disney. If you get the opportunity to go, please do, we were truly blessed by our experience!💜

This Foundation is amazing! I found comfort & strength from the first moment I called, and found out about SUDEP from Julie Hutchison. The Foundation has provided us with a SmartWatch, a weighted blanket, a trip to EADDL, led us to a Service Dog Company, and so much more. It is my belief that without the CHF, we wouldn't have our son. I am forever grateful to Doug & Julie Hutchison for everything they've done, and continue to do for those of us in the epilepsy community.

We were so blessed to be able to attend this event and obtain the help & information provided there. We were able to connect with a Specialist, who knew how best to treat our son’s Epilepsy, and connect with others on similar journeys. To be able to attend Disneyland was the cherry on top.

I can't say enough about the CHF! When we were at our lowest, and lost as to how to help our son, they pointed us to the help we needed and walked beside us until we found answers. Starting with a listening ear, to finding us a Smart Watch Monitor, to guiding us to a Service Dog Company, then a trip to EADDL, where we found a Specialist, they have been there each step of the way. They work tirelessly in their daughter's honor to help others to not have to experience the same loss that they've been through.

This Foundation has meant the world to us, and has done so much for so many! They led us to a Service Dog Company, a Smartwatch, Weighted blanket, and EADDL, where we were put in touch with Specialists who helped our son with his Epilepsy. Beyond that, Julie and Doug have been a source of strength and encouragement when things were so dark, when we thought we might lose our son. Only someone who has gone through that loss could be so kind and understanding, and I don’t know what we’d do without them!

I think thatMy Assistance Dog, Inc is a valuable resource for so many! When someone is disabled, a Service Dog can literally mean the difference of life & death, and this Organization provides guidance on the process.

Julie & Doug Hutchison have taken their personal tragedy and turned it into an amazing Foundation that blesses everyone they come into contact with. What they do for families with Epilepsy is nothing short of amazing! Whether it's connecting folks to Dr.'s needed, providing grants for Alert Monitors & Service Dogs, or just providing a listening ear, they are outstanding! I can't say how much I love & appreciate this Foundation for what they have done for the Epilepsy Community as well as my family!
