Rating: 5 stars

Woodlands Wildlife Refuge is a superb organization. The small staff is professional, caring and hardworking and each person is committed to doing what it takes to rehabilitate and release orphaned and injured wildlife. The organization is highly respected throughout the state and is recognized internationally for its work with black bears.

Review for North Brunswick Humane Association, N Brunswick, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The North Brunswick Humane Association has assisted me with numerous trap, neuter and return projects for community cats, saving countless lives! They are always ready, willing and able to provide financial assistance with tnr and medical bills. NBHA also promotes tnr education to individuals and communities, providing a very valuable service. They also sponsor a very successful and popular Annual Super Cat Adoption Day, providing local rescues and shelters with the opportunity to find forever homes.

Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The most professional & dedicated group I have ever known. They are truly committed to providing the very best of care to the animals, and to doing everything possible to ensure a successful return to the wild. I am proud to be associated with this phenomenal organization!

Review for Best Friends Animal Society, Kanab, UT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first volunteered with Best Friends after Hurricane Katrina and have since volunteered in Pahrump, NV, as part of the Great Kitty Rescue of 800 abandonded cats, and also at the Sanctuary in Kanab several times. I live in NJ, so this is a significant commitment on my part. I have seen first hand the dedication of the staff, several of whom have become friends, and opened their hearts and homes to me.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

feeling as though I am making a difference.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

hardworking, dedicated animal lovers!

Ways to make it better...

I could stay longer!

One thing I'd also say is that...

view the over-the-top criticism with skepticism; BF has come in to clean up the messes other organizations have left behind and there are some disgruntled peple willing to say anything to damage the reputation of this amazing organzation

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

Review for Tabby's Place: a Cat Sanctuary, Inc., Ringoes, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

A jewel of an organization where special needs kitties are well loved and cared for. I would encourage everyone to learn all they can about this amazing Sanctuary, and to donate, visit, volunteer and/or adopt. I sponsor Tashi, a parapalegic kitty many other organizations would have euthanized, and receive special updates, pictures and videos of his progress. He is one happy, happy kitty, which is a great tribute to the work of the staff and volunteers. They are very appreciative of all support, and are dedicated to every kitty under their care and to ensuring each one has the best possible life.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

seeing first hand the extraordinary love they have for and care they provide to special needs kitties.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

welcoming, kind and appreciative.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand to care for even more special needs kitties.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month
