Review for Friends of WPC Nepal, Seattle, WA, USA
I am humbled by the truly lifesaving work performed so humbly by Ms. Lila Ghising and the entire staff at WPPC Nepal. I have twice taken groups of high school students from the US to work with the children in the safe home. We have attended their schools, participated in human rights and trafficking awareness campaigns, and supported their job creation programs in sewing and jewelry making.
The children in the home are not only given educational opportunities that they would not otherwise have, but they are also given the skills to pursue meaningful work as they complete school. Visitors to the home provide exposure to options beyond what they have seen in their few years prior to coming to the safe home.
I cannot applaud the WPPC enough for all they do.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I can't think of any changes. I do think that if the organization were to expand it would be better to start a second safe home than to make a larger one. The family feel of the current home is intimate and engaging for everyone. A safe home should remain this size to be effective.
