Review for All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc., El Dorado Hills, CA, USA
I came to All About Equine to fulfill my need to be with horses. I soon felt part of a caring community. The first thing that impressed me was how each horse is treated individually according to their health and nutrition needs. I have seen first hand how love and care can turn an animal around. The focus is always the animals first, which leaves volunteers like myself feeling like we really can make a difference.
Then there are the programs for the children, which my grandchildren have benefited from. Kids really do need to see what ranch/farm life is like.
The adoption rate for the horses is also something to be very proud of, and it comes from the dedication of the Director right on down the line to each volunteer.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would try to get the word out that All About Equine Animal Rescue is the place to go to adopt a horse. It is also a place that should be well known and appreciated for it's involvement in the community and for the way all volunteers are welcomed and appreciated.
