My Nonprofit Reviews

CF
Review for Womens Entrepreneurship Initiative, Scottsdale, AZ, USA
I have followed this organization for a couple years now. Two aspects come to mind that really set WEI apart from other projects: The mission is not about 'hand-outs', but rather funding entrepreneurial training and opportunities. The loans not only provide a lifeline for the receiving entrepreneur and family; by creating new businesses they also support the community, both economically and socially. Ms. Murphy's passion, intelligence and drive to make a difference are evident after even a short conversation. Those traits are reflected by everyone involved in the organization, and are the reason that WEI will be very successful.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
having my eyes opened to a more macro view of the world. Suffering people in other parts of the world often do not have the same avenues availabe to turn their live's around as people here do. WEI provides those opportunities.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
smart, hard-working, and dedicated to the organization's mission.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
impact millions of lives. Every funding action impacts the receipient first, then over time, all members of the community.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
