Review for Ian Somerhalder Foundation, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I came across the Ian Somerhalder Foundation through actor/activist Ian Somerhalder. Upon learning more about his incredible work as a philanthropist and activist working to better the world, I came across his truly remarkable foundation and it's powerful mission, which captured not only my attention but my heart as well. The IS Foundation aims to empower, educate, and collaborate with people and projects to positively impact the planet and it's creatures. The ISF is not just another typical organization working to make the world a better place, it's a place where creative thinkers, passionate leaders, true visionaries are born, and most importantly, where real quantifiable change happens. One of the IS Foundation's critical areas of focus is our Youth- by creating mobility in engaging and supporting the most powerful, yet disregarded, disrespected and overlooked population on the planet, and giving these young people a chance and most importantly an opportunity to do great things, by providing them with the resources and tools necessary to make global change happen captivated me and continues to captivate and inspire me daily. Aside from activating our Youth, the ISF is supported and widely appreciated/loved in almost ALL parts of the world, it has such a growing demographic of support, aka Crews in various corners of the world that work locally in support of the IS Foundation and it's mission. How incredible is that!!!! I am extremely proud to say that I support ISF and it's founders, for they have activated, empowered, and ignited passion for a difference in the world for people of all ages. I encourage you to read more about this truly amazing foundation and find a way to get involved.
