Review for Equine Wellbeing Rescue Inc., Snowflake, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am always thrilled when I can comfortably extend a 5 star rating to a horse rescue. With 35yrs. experience with raising, training, advocacy and rescue of our beloved equines I am pleased to write my sincere admiration and respect for EWR. Professionalism and "well being " describe the way Christine runs and operates her very much needed horse rescue. I had the pleasure of speaking with her personally during a very high profile rescue of the Dann sisters baby herd in January 2015. I was impressed by her patience, level head during crisis and ultimately stepping in without overextending her rescues abilities. I was impressed with her honesty and integrity during those stressful days. I am great full that Equine WellBeing Rescue came forward and saved horses, that were not even in her home state. I received thoughtful, professional written correspondence from her personally and I believe the horse world is a better place with her organization saving / rescuing horses in need. Sincerely,
Teresa Cook

Review for Habitat For Horses Inc, Alvin, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I discovered this wonderful organization via Facebook, almost 2 yrs. ago. The educational articles / publications I found to be extremely informative and very helpful. Jerry Finch wrote a 5 part series that was particularly helpful in my advocacy work with horses. This series led me to read and meet via phone a well respected horse advocate with a huge knowledge base on issues important to me (Allan Warren). Habitat For Horses not only should be commended for their tireless efforts to "save / help " horses in need but also be highly regarded for their educational publications. These writings I have shared many, many times with others that were just starting to learn about advocacy and solutions for horses. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to share my appreciation for all the work they do!!! Sincerely, Teresa Cook, Cook's Ranch (Valley Center, California)

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would make no changes...Habitat For Horses should be a model to all others trying to successfully run a rescue/ advocacy / educational program for horses & burros!
