I love this place. I have volunteered there for almost 2 years now working with the horses and child's program. There is a great sense of community and everyone is on the same page to reach the common goal ... help all who pass thru our doors.

I have been at AAE for 1 year now and every week I learn something new and feel a sense of community being there. It has now become part of my routine, it is close and fulfills the need to pay it forward. The shift leaders work hard to make the volunteers feel needed and also accomendate special requests. sorry for the spelling.

This is the best therapy I have ever had. I did not think I would enjoy mucking stalls so much, But the routine of the work and the peacefulness of the setting are calming for me. It is a joy to see the horses and what interaction I am going to have with them. I have been told that I am calmer at home and happier since I started volunteering. All the volunteers are welcoming and just as hard working and truly everyone is on the same page and working together.
