I have been volunteering for AWLMC for a few years now, I find it to be the most rewarding experience I have been involved in.
February 29, 2012 I adopted Rudy the most amazing cat I have had the pleasure of having in my life.
When Hurricane Sandy came to town I volunteered to foster a kitty from the shelter which was Squinter. He made himself right at home once he was in my home. I could not stand to send him back to the shelter knowing he had recently been returned to our shelter after being adopted just a short before . He too is a wonderful kitty.
I enjoy taking care of the kitties at the shelter they keep me grounded.
