Review for Lord S Pantry of Downingtown, Downingtown, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We have seen the Lord's Pantry of Downingtown grow to its current size over the last decade and a half. A family friend introduced us to the good works that were being done at this local organization. The concept that a few community members could work together to raise funds, garner local vendor support and ignite the passion of volunteers within our community to serve others who were in need was lofty; however, that has been what the leaders of the Pantry have accomplished! We have chosen to support this non-profit organization in good times and in bad, through financial support and physically stocking the shelves. Our four children, two foster children and our foster-grandson have all helped out when we were called upon and the experience has been an invaluable education for our family. The Lord's Pantry of Downingtown is the culmination of the efforts of so many leaders, volunteers, businesses and donors; this entity should be the model for the creation of other similar entities based on its success. We are proud to financially and emotionally support the Lord's Pantry of Downingtown!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the resulting facility that now serves so many community member. It has been fulfilling to see the organization grow in both capacity and success with its clients.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
