My partner suffered from what doctors called 'eczema' for over 12 years. He was given increasingly potent doses of cortisone ointments which never controlled the problem. It actually kept getting worse and worse. We found ITSAN by googling and that discovery changed his life. He went through the grueling withdrawal from the topical steroids, and wouldn't have made it if not for the support we found through ITSAN. I, as his caretaker, was also supported by being able to connect with others going through this. I am very grateful for ITSAN. Today, my partner has nearly normal skin and has resumed a regular life, after being restricted from that for the years he was on steroids, and the increasing side effects of those drugs.
