Review for Kritter Inc Wildlife Sanctuary, P C Beach, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This organization has been life changing for me, I have been a regular volunteer for going on 4 years now, I volunteer 2-3 days a week currently. I started out cleaning cages and learning the specific diets of local wildlife, I am now involved in medical work including physical exams, fluid injections, performing and observing surgeries, performing necropsies on various species, doing x-rays at a veterinary clinic, bandaging wounds, etc etc...The one on one hands on experience is really invaluable. I've gained experience with lots of wild animals that people rarely even see up close, including different species of owls, hawks, songbirds, mammals and reptiles! The volunteer work at this organization is very rewarding, the nurturing and releasing of animals back into the wild is nothing short of AMAZING. I cant say enough about Kritter Inc.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The only change I'd make to kritter inc is to have warm water during cold months.

From a shy, awkward kid her volunteer time has truly transpired her into a determined, self-motivating take charge individual. She has grown tremendously through her volunteer time with Kritter, Inc. We depend on her more and more everyday and I am so proud of her accomplishments. Just a few hours a week will open your eyes to a world very few people can share - come out and join us today - as for the cold water, well, more fundraising events might just deliver a hot water tank - keep the donations coming - we are reaching out on-line for a larger impact to the work we do for saving wildlife -
