Review for Reece's Rainbow | Special Needs Adoption Support, Combined Locks, WI, USA
Adopted from this organization and had no issues although in country there was a question of ethical violations all along the way. Chalked it up to the country but then upon arriving home found more and more ethical issues with their facilitator. If you choose your own facilitator which this organization claims to allow, mysteriously your children are not available. Too many instances where children they claim to be available are not. Instead of transparency the organization buries their mistakes at the cost of the children and families. If you speak up or ask questions you are told to privately message their director who proceeds to blame the family and although aware of her facilitators tactics continues to use him exclusively. If it is about finding homes for their children why make it difficult to do so? They claim not to know where children are located yet their new family laison has privately messaged families with location. Their facilitator hires RR dossier helper who continues to work for RR families on a volunteer basis which screams you must use their facilitator or else. Ask questions!! And don't just ask privately because you will just get smokes and screens.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Have an independent board to oversee the questionable actions of the director and facilitator. RR started with good intentions but the god like actions of the director who tries to second guess and act as a social worker in telling families who is a good fit for their family has taken its toll on what use to be a good organization. Fix it before it crumbles and those very children they claim to want to save will be lost.
