Review for The Teen Project Inc, Sun Valley, CA, USA
This organization is the parent organization to a treatment center called "Freehab". Now while the work they do may be considered great and on all accounts may help and benefit some people in one way or another, they are also very conflicting and not very transparent in their dealings. To be blunt, they lie to get ahead and to get money. To my knowledge, they lied to gain the trust of the community and former employees of a program that they are supposedly replacing in order to obtain a $500,000 grant from the City of Los Angeles just to then not follow through with promises made to those former employees and the community. This organization cares only about serving themselves and what THEY want to do, NOT what the community that they are going to now occupy needs them to do. The community of Sun Valley needs Freehab to help the homeless males of the community because that is the main problem, not 18-24 year old females. The operations of this company behind closed doors is deceitful and they think that putting a few movie stars and a former City Council Member (the same guy who helped them get the grant from the City of L.A.) that they can buy their way into the community and get away with what ever they choose. Don't be fooled by this organization and the new Freehab that they are opening. They fooled the former employees of a company that did great work in that community, don't let them fool you too.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Open the facility that the community of Sun Valley needs, an all male program for homeless drug addict and alcoholics, and hire onto their staff the former employees of the program that they are now claiming to be replacing. Those employees were the heart and soul of the community, everyone knew them, and they are what the community of Sun Valley really needs.
