Review for Environmental Defense Fund, New York, NY, USA
With the huge global threats that are a clear & present danger to my children as well as the rest of us I have found EDF to be the kind of uncompromising group of individuals that we need in this time of extremes.
With our politicians taking their paychecks directly from the corporations democracy is dead in the USA. Democracy in its essence means representation of which the people have none on Capitol Hill. That's why EDF is so important. It represents those of us who have no real voice to be heard & fights for the welfare of all. If you can give EDF any help at all, from pennies to billions, from a signature to a pat on the back I beg you to do so. That 'begging' is not an exaggeration; together we are strong, divided we are weak. Without these fighters for the truth we, & our political institutions, would all be in that much more peril than we already are.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
See to it that whatever energy that can be brought to bear on the overturning of Citizens United would be a priority. Without that all of our political structure is just theater.
