We love Homeless Animal Lifeline, because every penny that they raise goes directly to helping the animals. Michelle is tireless in her advocacy and never seems to stop helping out the kitties in any way she can, whether its supporting feral colony caregivers, getting vet care for injured animals, pulling cats from kill shelters and finding them great homes, and networking for transportation solutions, foster care etc. If she sees a problem, she will find a way to solve it - she is amazing. As just one example illustrates - this is a woman who spent her honeymoon handing out petfood and supplies to people who were hit by Sandy, rather than taking a well-deserved vacation.

We donate directly and also hosted a bake sale for HAL, and really enjoyed meeting all the volunteers and foster families that work with HAL. They're great people, who truly care about the animals, and are very conscientious, dedicated and responsible.

I cannot say enough good things about HAL. I love their approach, dedication and the way that they stretch all their donations to provide so much care for the animals they serve.
