Review for Homeless Animal Lifeline, Manalapan, NJ, USA
Homeless Animal Lifeline was invaluable in helping me rescue an abandoned cat from NYC's high kill shelter system. After I fell hard for a cat whose abandonment was posted far and wide on Facebook and Craig's List he was captured by NY Animal Control and taken to the Brooklyn Shelter. He had gained such notoriety by that point that there were a number of rescues and other adopters offering to take him in spite of his FeLV positive status. Michelle guided me on the best actions to get through the adoption process successfully and happily. Thanks to HAL I have a new family member and another on the way as well as a renewed desire to work with animal rescue organizations on a regular basis.
