I guess as a "role" I would consider myself client served. HAL reunited a rescued kitty from my parents background with me after he went missing (aka trapped by animal control and brought to a kill shelter). I recognized the picture on HALS website, got in touch w/ Michelle to see if she can help get him, and within a few weeks he was mine (obviously as in indoor only cat no longer outside). Almost a year later, Bailey has made his place in life very clear. As a rambunctious, sweet almost 2 year old, I could not imagine him not being part of my "family" (he makes my 4th cat). If it wasn't for Michelle and the folks she works with this would not have been possible.
