Review for Homeless Animal Lifeline, Manalapan, NJ, USA
Homeless Animal Lifelife (HAL) is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization that not only rescues cats (and rabbits, dogs, ferrets, snakes and even fish!) from shelters and places them in homes where they will be loved, fed and kept warm for the rest of their lives, but they also tend to several feral cat colonies. They utilize the T/N/R (trap/neuter/release) method as a way to curb the populations. I believe in the hard work this organization does and the unwavering effort its volunteers put forth. In the two years that I have known about this rescue, I have donated several hundred dollars (I give what can, when I can) so they can continue doing the stellar work that they do, providing care for the ferals and pulling the cats that would otherwise be put to death due to injuries, sickness or FeLV or FIV positives, from shelters, getting them healthy and finding them the perfect home.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Though I wouldn't necessarily make changes to this organization, I would put forth to the people out there, to consider fostering. There are so many needy animals out there that need warm, loving homes and they stand a better chance of rescue if they had a foster home to go to while the perfect forever home is found.
