Review for Operation Paws for Homes, N.Chesterfield, VA, USA
I started volunteering with OPH nearly 3 years ago posting ads on Craigslist and Adopt-A-Pet. I started going to the adoption events and through that eventually started doing references and final interviews for adoption applications. Though I moved to Tampa, Fla. nearly a year ago, I still process applications long distance, since my computer and phone are all that's needed. I truly miss the comraderie and fun we would have at the adoption events, but the volunteers keep in close contact via our special Facebook. I'm not just a volunteer; I'm a client too. I adopted Anthony from OPH and love him to pieces. I can't say enough good things about this organization. Every volunteer is extremely dedicated and hard-working. The fosters especially deserve extra praise. I don't know how they do it, some taking on whole litters at a time! I'm proud to be part of such an organization that has had a part in saving so many dogs.
