Review for My Brother's Table, Inc., Lynn, MA, USA
I volunteer at lunch one day each week and for the main meal on one Saturday a month (18 years now). There can be no experience like it: the volunteers are friendly and dedicated; the guests could not be nicer nor more appreciative of what is made available to them. The meals are nutritious, and other services provided are a great bonus for the guests. It is a service of great necessity in Lynn. I can't imagine my life without being one of its volunteers.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing some of the guests no longer needing its services, but knowing that it is there for anyone needing its services.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
make a plan to keep the pantry organized and do a better job of volunteer coordination (not have too many or few volunteers for meal prep).
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
meeting other friendly and dedicated volunteers, and knowing somehow I'm helping people in need (of whom but for the grace of God I could be one).
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
friendly, dedicated and eager to work at anything needing to be done.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
it could find its own home and no longer have to be concerned about pleasing "outsiders".
Ways to make it better...
the pantry were more organized and there was a consistency to donations.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
financial funding and consistent food donations.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Serving the guests is so filled with satisfaction. I thank God I can be one to serve and not be one in need of a meal.
