I recently came into some money and felt a strong desire to contribute to a worthy cause in my community. City Impact is well known throughout SF so I reviewed their financial statements This may seem boring to most, but I'm a Finance professional so it only made sense to do so. In any event, a quick review of this firm's Form 990 yielded some shocking information. The Founder, Director, and CFO each earn nearly $100K a year, which has been classified under 'Program' costs rather than 'General & Admin' given that the IRS does not require any sort of classification. What's worse is that they are all related!! I mean, seriously?
