Review for Chain Of Hope Kc, Kansas City, MO, USA
This is one of the only animal group in Kansas City whose sole purpose is fielding calls about animals in need, primarily dogs tied outside being neglected. They drive the streets of the city, looking for animals without adequate shelter, food, water and medical care. We absolutely need more groups like Chain of Hope as long as tying your animal outside for unlimited periods of time remains legal and as long as animal control remains understaffed and unconcerned about the torture and suffering of animals in our community. I've personally witnessed the work that they've done and can vouch for them. Go to their website and read Kate's blog to see the heartwrenching stories of these animals.
I will support this group as long as I can and as long as they are in existence.

Review for Asia Wild, Charleston, SC, USA
I heard Jill speak at a conference ten years ago. I was moved by her direct experience and her desire to improve conditions for animals that are literally tortured for years for no valid reason. They have rescued hundreds of bears and have expanded their work to open a Vietnam bear rescue and educate people in Asia to reduce the killing and eating of cats and dogs that sadly does exist. They do a great job updating their website with their latest work and Jill writes a blog, so please check it out to see their ongoing accomplishments.
In response to the one-star poster, this organization is based out of London, so that could explain why they had delays in communication. That doesn't negate the fact that this organization does great and important work to rescue and assist animals who are suffering.
