Review for FRIENDS OF A K SMILEY PUBLIC LIBRARY, Redlands, CA, USA
I moved to Redlands 3 years ago and since then I have visited the Smiley Public Library for several occasions. Smiley Library is the only historical library around the area and for that matter it should have better service and enough materials, but unfortunately it has only a few computers and they are very old. Most of the devices does not work and they are never fixed. It does not have programs or a classes for the community. Usually, the employes open late and they close 30 minutes earlier than they suppose to do it. They have bad attitude force people to leave 30 minutes earlier by turning off the lights, turning off the internet, and telling people to leave. It is sad because i have donated many books but i think it should have more founds to improve the service.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
i would look for donations or founds to improve the materials and all the devices as computers and i would add more for the children's area. I would invite people to offer workshops for the community, as ESL classes for english learner people, tutoring, reading programs, arts and crafts, painting, music, teens programs,personal growth programs, CNA program, certificates, or more things to help the community.
