My Nonprofit Reviews

Doug Boston
Review for Community Touch, Inc., Bealeton, VA, USA
For me and my family, what began as an opportunity for our teenagers to be involved in the community has turned into a family-wide close-knit relationship with a high quality organization meeting the real needs of people in our community. We've developed relationships with people in the Transitional Housing program and watched them get back on their feet. We've been able to help provide food to people in need and build a positive rapport with them. I've never seen an organization like this run with as high a degree of integrity and resourcefulness as Community Touch. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I don't waste my time when I'm there. Everything I've done has a sense of purpose and feels like I'm making a difference. I feel I'm working alongside high-quality people who genuinely care about what they are doing and understand their purpose.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
High-integrity. They care about what they are doing and care about doing it the right way.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build an additional shelter (part of our long-range plan) and renovate what we already have. Expand our Thrift Store to better serve the community. We've talked about opening a Child's Transitional Home of which there currently is none in our community.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
