Review for JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE OF LOS ANGELES, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and its Community Food Bank and Resource Program provide essential services to Greater Los Angeles’ residents in need.
The organization dispenses wide range of services, referrals and support, including food. JFS’ approach is comprehensive and focused on empowering recipients of its support so they can become productive while maintaining their dignity. Most charitable organizations are fueled by compassion, but there are extremely few other non-profit organizations that serve the community with as much grace as Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and its Community Food Bank and Resource Program.

Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles is also a valuable member (and one of the leaders) of the larger community of Los Angeles area non-profit organizations. It leads by example, inspires and supports the work of other charities. Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation is honored to be associated with Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles that helps us carry out our mission of helping struggling single parents with children.

Review for LA Diaper Drive, Santa Monica, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Powered by compassion and enthusiasm, L.A. Diaper Drive provides diapers for babies and toddlers in need.
Our organization, Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation, serves disadvantaged single parent families. The diapers provided to us by L.A. Diaper Drive aren’t given to struggling single mothers to enable complacency, but as an incentive to attend our self-sufficiency workshops.
Kudos to L.A. Diaper Drive! A noble mission carried out with grace by a noble organization.
