Review for Cherith Junior School, ARUSHA, , Tanzania
I spent one month at Cherith Junior School as a volunteer, teaching English. It was a great experience and very inspiring to spend time with the founders of the school, Mr and Mrs Mbise, who are making a difference in their community. They are forward thinking, have a passion for education and are committed to improving the lives of children and families in Arusha. Cherith is still in the early stages of establishing itself but is already educating many vulnerable children and is continuing to develop and expand. The staff at Cherith have created a caring and nurturing environment and are working hard to provide quality schooling for their students. Everyone involved with the school community is very friendly and welcoming.
