This is a great resource for unbiased, real-accounts of psychoactive substance use. The miserably-failing DARE and other abstinence programs are a complete failure. People who desire to use these substances should have access to reliable information...for instance, if there is a student in school who is on an anti-depressant that is classified as an MAOI and wants to experiment with MDMA, this combination could be fatal. The DARE officers won't provide harm-reduction information to these students, who are going to use them regardless. This website has saved my own life and the lives of many others and should be used as a reference in schools. Tens of thousands of FIRST HAND accounts of drug use....why is this NOT being taught to our students? Enough of the lies, propaganda, and misinformation spread by the government. Erowid is a breath of fresh air in a world of BS.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make every fifth grader conduct research into ten different chemicals and come up with their own conclusions on whether they are "good" or "bad" and think for themselves.
