My son died while on active duty in the Army. Honor and Remember honored me with a flag with my son's name, rank, date and place of death. While we received one flag from the military that will remain folded and encased forever in honor of our son, the flag the Honor and Remember gave us will fly throughout the year to show our love for him. It was then my honor to meet the found of the Honor and Remember flag, George Lutz, at a Run for the Fallen event. Not even knowing who he was, as he stood in front of my son's picture, and I told him that was my boy, he came and hugged me and cried with me. This is not an organization looking for accolades, instead their mission is to let all know that our loved one's will never be forgotten.
