Review for United Way of Pierce County, Tacoma, WA, USA
I have been involved with United Way of Pierce County for 10 years now and couldn't be more pleased! They are always willing to connect me and my co-workers with opportunites to volunteer in our community. We participate in their Annual Day of Caring, Back to School is Cool Project, Season of Caring - Thanksgiving and Season of Caring - Christmas. All of these projects enable us to give in the most meaningful way possible. They also set us up with the Feed the Need Project where we go to a local shelter once a month to feed the clientele there. As a member of the United Way of Pierce County Volunteer Engagement Council, I am able to assist them in finding more ways to involve others in giving of their time in our community. I couldn't ask for a better way to find volunteer opportunities than working with the personnel at United Way of Pierce County. I know that the money that I donate (as well as the dollars from my co-workers) are given to agencies in my community in a way that will have the highest impact.
