A Community of Friends’ mission is to end homelessness through the provision of quality permanent supportive housing for people with mental illness.

For over ten years, we have been fortunate enough to receive much needed donations from Shelter Partnership. The S. Mark Taper Foundation Shelter Resource Bank.

When a tenant moves into one of our buildings, they are often provided with a welcome home basket.
Most of the items in the basket, are items which have either have been donated by Shelter Partnership or private donors. Some of the items, may include, a shower curtain, tooth paste, tooth, brush, cleaning supplies, among many other day to day household items.

I would personally like to thank all of the wonderful staff at Shelter Partnership, which make it all possible. From the administrative staff to the great folks at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Shelter Resource Bank. Anita, Jerri, and the rest of the crew. Thank you!
