Review for Team Rubicon, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I love working with these men and women. Team Rubicon is the closest to professional disaster relief that is possible with volunteer force. Team Rubicon uses all sorts of military training, as well as FEMA developed disaster relief protocols to provide aid for all sorts of disasters.

Review for Salvation Army Western Division, Omaha, NE, USA
As a responder with Team Rubicon USA in Wayne NE, we asked the Salvation Army representative to aid in our coordination of volunteer efforts beyond the normal scope of his duties with the Salvation Army. The fellow accepted the additional duties and excelled in his coordination of not only his normal duties, but also the additional responsibility that we asked him to undertake. The Salvation Army provided meals to families, volunteers, and response personnel in the tornado path, as well as the Volunteer Incident Command Post (VICP), Staging Area, and Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Well over a thousand volunteers were provided for. Excellent work by the Salvation Army.

The food service trucks currently used are good for meal delivery, however if also supplying a Staging Area, EOC, or VICP/ICP, a larger vehicle, or trailer would be useful. Storage is very limited for workers, and enclosed trailers would provide much needed additional storage.
