Review for Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Foundation Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation, Brooklyn, NY, USA
My wife and I have been involved with T.E.A.L. for over five years, and we are both deeply grateful and proud to be part of such an amazing organization. The love, commitment, dedication and energy infused by Louisa McGregor and her sister Pamela Esposito-Amery into T.E.A.L. permeate the walk, the volunteers and event staff, and everyone who come to walk. Everyone who attends comments on the upbeat and attentive volunteer staff.
It is more than just a walk. It is a powerful and moving event, that deeply touches everyone present - a very public place that allows for surprising intimacy and sharing - of tears, joy, courage and hope. Although Louisa is gone, Pamela, and her seemingly boundless energy, keeps T.E.A.L. vibrant, strong and constantly reaching out to grow. T.E.A.L, although a grassroots movement, has a powerful message that has reached many thousands. It is one of the big reasons that ovarian cancer awareness is spreading all over New York.
T.E.A.L. has grown more successful each year and more varied types of events are being held. Yet it has never lost its deeply personal roots and its humanity, which remain intact and accessible. T.E.A.L. truly is special!
