I have volunteered with TEAL for the last year and a half. I've worked at their center to provide support to survivors, organized an awareness event with them and participated in their fundraising walk. They work tirelessly to address the pressing issues associated with ovarian cancer such as building awareness, providing support to survivors and raising money for research. I am proud to volunteer with such a great organization!

I have been in touch with T.E.A.L.® since they attended a career fair at my university this past March. I was extremely moved by how genuinely interested the staff was in every candidate that came to their table. The CEO and co-founder of T.E.A.L.®, Pamela, was there herself and even conducted interviews herself personally. Throughout the hiring process, the T.E.A.L.® staff was extremely transparent. I have now been an intern for them for about two weeks, and so far, I feel incredibly welcome. It is extremely evident that they care a lot about not just maximizing their interns' strengths, but helping their interns grow too. They also put an incredible amount of energy and passion into all the events that they organize. Overall, I have had a very positive experience with T.E.A.L.® and can't wait to become more involved within it.

This is a great organization that is truly tackling ovarian cancer from all angles. They have support groups, awareness programs, workshops, connections for survivors, and more. While I was here I helped with a workshop that focused on raising awareness for genetic testing for cancer. This is a nonprofit that is truly dedicated to their work.

I worked with this organization in the past in order to fulfill a school requirement but I have continued to be involved with T.E.A.L because of the vital work that they do. There is not a lot of resources out there for Ovarian Cancer patients and their families and I personally know that because I am personally affected by this horrendous disease. This organization is one of the few that works with the survivors of this disease as well as the caregivers. They provide resources, have workshops, and a safe space for them to come to. Moreover, their annual walk is one of the biggest specifically for Ovarian cancer which is desperately needed in order to highlight the need for research for this disease so there can one day be a screening test in place and ultimately a cure.
I volunteered with this organization and will continue to do so because of the important work they are doing. It is a great place for volunteers because you always feel like your contributions and input are valued.

Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer is a great non-profit organization that raises awareness on ovarian cancer. There aren't any accurate screening tests for ovarian cancer so this organization is helpful to educate women on the signs/symptoms and risk factors so that ovarian cancer can be prevented or detected at an earlier state.

A few years ago I interviewed Louisa McGregor’s sister for the Canarsie Courier newspaper as a profile of the non profit organization. After hearing the long struggle and about Louisa’s journey to bring awareness to ovarian cancer, I decided to run the TEAL 5K race to benefit awareness of the disease. It was my FIRST competitive race and I encountered so many amazing women and families of survivors. Ever since my first race in 2015, I’ve joined this charity to keep Louisa’s memory alive and support all women battling this disease. This non profit does a great job supporting the cause!!!

I learned about T.E.A.L through a job fair I went to at Brooklyn College. From then on, I was inspired to get involved to support the fight against ovarian cancer because of the extraordinary story about this organization. The student club I'm currently in, pitched ideas to the CEO, Pamela, to see if she could come speak at our school. We were able to collaborate together successfully. Pamela spoke at Brooklyn College as a guest speaker during the club's event called "Advertising in Non-Profit". We received great feedback about the event because students learned about ovarian cancer as well as the business aspects of T.E.A.L.

Pamela, the CEO of T.E.A.L came to Brooklyn College to speak at our event about Marketing in Non-Profit. She spent time sharing what symptoms can be linked to Ovarian Cancer and the reasons why the public needs to know more about Ovarian Cancer. She also took the time to share with us how her non-profit used branding, and marketing to gain awareness for their cause.

I became involved in T.E.A.L. as a volunteer through a connection in Scouting with the son of Louisa McGregor, one of the founders of the organization, who has since succumbed to ovarian cancer. I have watched this organization grow every year that I have been a part of it since its inception and know that their efforts are saving lives through the outstanding efforts they are making to raise awareness of this disease; and in raising funds to support research. The Boy Scouts are called to be of service to others as one of our core values. I feel that working with T.E.A.L. is the greatest service project that I now perform on an annual basis because of the impact it has on so many lives.

My experience with T.E.A.L came about through a friend who lost her sister. Until then, I knew nothing about ovarian cancer. Throughout this journey I have learned what symptoms to look for, the lack of tests that exists for early detection and I have seen close hand the heart break involved when a diagnosis comes too late. It is why I have had the honor of volunteering with TEAL for the last 7yrs. We all have a mother, aunt, sister, cousin, daughter or friend and is why i believe in the importance of spreading the awareness and education to them all in order to help early detection.

T.E.A.L is an amazing organization. I had the opportunity of interning with them and has volunteered every year for their annual TEAL Walk since last three years. It's a team full of extremely hard working people. T.E.A.L has played a keen role in spreading awareness about Ovarian Cancer locally and nationally. Not only do they provide services & resources for the ovarian cancer survivors but also have support services & linkage to other resources for the family members of those touched by ovarian cancer. T.E.A.L has grown into this wonderful family of people who work so hard towards the goal of spreading awareness about risks & symptoms of ovarian cancer and funding research for better screening options. I feel proud to be a part of T.E.A.L and hope to continue working with them in future as well.

I stumbled across T.E.A.L. last year trying to create an event in my community for ovarian cancer. Pamela and her team have been nothing but supportive as we have tried creating a presence in the Southeast. I’ve been working with ®T.E.A.L. for about a year now and still think it’s AMAZING! I was initially attracted to this movement because 1) I love the color teal for Ovarian Cancer awareness 2) I was impressed with the variety of ®T.E.A.L. walks/events/fundraisers & the success ®T.E.A.L. has achieved in such a short amount of time, and 3) because my grandmother was an Ovarian Cancer survivor. Everyday I feel closer to her and I know she’s proud that I can use her experience with this disease as a educational tool in presentations. I know she’s absolutely loving the attention ☺. Every day is something new and exciting with ®T.E.A.L. whether we’re at a Health Fair spreading awareness about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors to Amazing Ladies everywhere or in the office organizing workshops, events, and walks throughout the USA. I’m so lucky to be a part of such a dynamic organization that does Amazing things for Amazing Ladies and thrilled I have another excuse to tell the world about my Amazing Lady, my grandma Lolo!
