As a founding board member I have been involved in every aspect of the HEAL Project, which aims to instill respect for personal and environmental health in students in the Cabrillo Unified School District Since begun as a pilot project in 1996, over 3000 students have benefited from HEAL to date.

Review for Sonrisas Dental Health, San Mateo, CA, USA

Our community did not have any providers of dental care to the low income and public insurance population until the establishment of Sonrisas. As someone who has been with Sonrisas from the beginning I have seen how it has matured and how valuable the services are for the 4000 clients who see Sonrisas as their clinic. The staff is exceptional.

I have volunteered with the oral education and screening outreach provided to children in our local schools and childcare facilities. I am aware of the network of dental professionals who offer their services as volunteers I am proud of the relationship Sonrisas has with local dental professional schools
