Review for Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Foundation Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation, Brooklyn, NY, USA
I met Pamela and Louisa through OCRF when my friend Lacey Gallagher died of ovarian cancer and left enough money to start a foundation to support research. Her wish was that we fund an "outdoor, joyful event" to raise money and awareness, and we opted to join forces with T.E.A.L. to make a walk happen in Brooklyn. In these five years I think T.E.A.L. has exceeded expectations and proven that a small dream and grassroots team can have a major impact. Each year the walk has grown and raised more money, and spread the word even farther than before, but it never loses that joyful homegrown feeling that made it happen in the first place. Pamela is a visionary leader and she has made this happen beyond anyone's biggest dream. Brava!
